Getting Support in Maricopa at Our Accredited Rehab Centers

Purpose Healing Center is a leading mental health and addiction treatment destination in Arizona. As a provider with multiple locations in Maricopa County, we have flexible options that can meet the needs of nearly all seeking help in the area.

However, that doesn’t mean that our programs are one size fits all, not by any stretch of the imagination. We believe in individualized care for substance use disorders and other emotional or behavioral health concerns.

According to the Arizona Department of Health, more than five people die from overdoses in Arizona each day — and that’s just for Opioid drugs. The need for substance use disorder and mental health services is high across Arizona and the United States at large.

What should you know if you or someone you know needs help?

We’ll also talk about staying substance-free after treatment and sober activities to enjoy in our beautiful home location of Maricopa County, Arizona! And remember, you can reach out to our welcoming Admissions team at any time for more specifics and for confidential insurance verification!

A Proven Residential Drug Rehab Program

Our residential inpatient drug rehab program in Arizona is the most intensive level of care at Purpose Healing Center. Inpatient treatment provides 24/7 supervision and lets clients live on-site for the duration of their program. Purpose Healing Center has private and semi-private rooms, nutritious meals, recreation activities, a fitness center, and other on-site amenities for your comfort.

Although it can be hard to commit to time away from home, inpatient care is highly valuable for suitable clients. Inpatient treatment helps you break patterns of substance use and mental health symptoms. As an inpatient client at Purpose, you’ll build new, healthy routines and create a toolkit of essential coping skills.

Medical Detoxification Program

If you currently use alcohol and other drugs, you’ll likely need to attend medical detox before entering another level of care. Our medical detoxification program helps clients get through drug and alcohol withdrawals safely and successfully.

Since detox is designed to act as a precursor to another level of care where the underlying causes of addiction are addressed via therapy and related services, you can expect to stay in the detox stage of treatment for about 1-2 weeks

Our PHP or Partial Hospitalization Program

Partial hospitalization programs offer the most intense form of outpatient treatment possible. In a partial hospitalization program (PHP), you’ll attend care most days of the week for about 4-6 hours on each treatment day.

Our partial hospitalization programs involve a heavily structured schedule of individual therapy and group therapy alongside other services that may benefit you. Clients in all of our programs get a personalized treatment plan, so your specific schedule will be unique to you.

Intensive Outpatient Programs at Purpose

Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Our intensive outpatient program offerings (IOP) are the next step below PHP. Although IOP and PHP treatment services may seem similar at first glance, the difference between them is that intensive outpatient programs have a lower time commitment.

Clients in intensive outpatient treatment still receive a combination of individual and group therapy throughout the week. Instead of attending care for most of the day on all weekdays, IOP clients can expect a time commitment of around 6-9+ hours per week, distributed across a few days (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).

Due to the lower time commitment, IOP is ideal for those with substance use or mental and behavioral health concerns who need to balance obligations like work or school with treatment. Like in PHP, clients must be able to manage symptoms (e.g., refrain from drug use) outside of IOP treatment hours.

We offer flexible intensive outpatient services for those looking for mental health or substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. Purpose Healing Center will attempt to match our programs with your work or school schedule to help you find the best treatment schedule for you.

Mental Health and Dual Diagnosis Treatment in Maricopa

According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), one in every four adults in our country faces a serious mental illness and also meets the criteria for a substance use disorder.

If you have a co-occurring substance use disorder and mental health condition, our accredited dual diagnosis treatment program can address them comprehensively. Dual diagnosis treatment is available at all levels of care at our Maricopa County substance abuse treatment center.

Purpose Healing Center also provides dedicated mental health treatment services for clients without substance use disorders. For example, we service adults at the IOP level, with trauma, anxiety, or depression who do not struggle with drugs and alcohol.
