Intensive Outpatient Arizona

Overcoming addiction can feel like an impossible challenge. Even with the support of family and friends, a person who has developed a dependence on drugs or alcohol may feel entirely powerless over their demons. While encouragement from loved ones is certainly beneficial, it is most effective when paired with treatment from a reputable rehabilitation clinic.

At Purpose Healing Center, we provide comprehensive treatment programs to treat drug and alcohol dependence. We understand some addicts may realize they need help but still be reluctant to enter our facility as a full-time resident. For this reason, we offer perhaps the most intensive outpatient care in Arizona.

Why Outpatient Treatment?

Those attempting to overcome substance abuse may elect to pursue rehab as an outpatient. Often, a person becomes an outpatient in order to undergo treatment without taking time away from work. This is common among professionals in high-pressure roles. Ironically, such roles may also be the cause of a patient’s substance abuse. This makes it a challenge to find the right balance between work and rehabilitation. Thankfully, it is a challenge which our addiction professionals are more than capable of tackling.

An addict may also choose an outpatient program if they have a family to care for. This allows them to overcome their substance abuse while still being there for those who need them the most.

In other situations, a person may pursue treatment as an outpatient if their addiction is not severe enough to warrant residence at our clinic. At Purpose Healing Center, we recommend inpatient treatment only to those who need it the most. If our addiction professionals fully believe a patient is capable of overcoming their addictions in the outside world, they will advise outpatient treatment. This allows the patient to maintain a normal life while they get the help they need.

Finally, we generally offer our intensive outpatient program to those who have completed inpatient treatment at our clinic. This allows our addiction professionals to continue working with former residents while granting them greater freedom flexibility. For some recovering addicts, the support of an intensive outpatient program to ease them into life after rehab can be the difference between a relapse and continuing sobriety.

Our Outpatient Program

Purpose Healing Center boasts arguably the most intensive outpatient care in Arizona. Just like our residents, each outpatient is presented with a treatment plan tailored exclusively to their needs. This will include regular therapy sessions with our addiction professionals. Patients are generally required to attend a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week. However, this number may be increased if deemed necessary. As time goes on, the number of hours a patient is expected to spend in therapy will be reduced. This ensures the outpatient is eased into total independence.
